You will be responsible for the entire picking and packing process, from locating items within the warehouse to preparing them for shipment. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to efficiency are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order specifications.
- Package products using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Operate manual and powered pallet jacks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts.
- Report any damaged or missing items to supervision immediately.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker or packer is advantageous.
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
