Network Systems Engineer
who can take full ownership of a customer's day-to-day IT environment while also supporting additional clients as part of a broader service portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on engineering, infrastructure oversight, and being the go-to technical expert for a stable environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Windows Server environments including ADD NS, DHCP, GPO, and core server services
  • Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure (switching, routing, VLANs, Wi-Fi, and firewalls)
  • Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V), including deployment and maintenance
  • Administer Microsoft 365 environments—user management, licensing, email, and security settings
  • Maintain backup and storage systems, ensuring proper retention, recovery, and data protection
  • Provide hands-on desktop and end-user support including imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Support and manage VoIP/telephony systems, including configuration and call flow updates
  • Monitor infrastructure health, document environments, and resolve escalations in a NOC-style workflow

Required Skills

  • 10–15 years
    of experience across networking and systems admin/engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with
    Windows Server, virtualization, and Microsoft 365
  • Solid understanding of
    networking fundamentals
    (L2/L3, VLANs, Wi-Fi, basic firewalling)
  • Experience managing
    backups, storage systems, and environment monitoring tools
  • Ability to operate independently as the primary onsite engineer
  • Experience in
    MSP, NOC, or multi-client environments
    is highly preferred
