We are currently partnering with a well-established IT solutions provider that is expanding their infrastructure practice and taking on a major long-term project. They're looking for a seasoned
Network Systems Engineer
who can take full ownership of a customer's day-to-day IT environment while also supporting additional clients as part of a broader service portfolio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on engineering, infrastructure oversight, and being the go-to technical expert for a stable environment.

Responsibilities
- Manage Windows Server environments including ADD NS, DHCP, GPO, and core server services
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure (switching, routing, VLANs, Wi-Fi, and firewalls)
- Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware or Hyper-V), including deployment and maintenance
- Administer Microsoft 365 environments—user management, licensing, email, and security settings
- Maintain backup and storage systems, ensuring proper retention, recovery, and data protection
- Provide hands-on desktop and end-user support including imaging, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Support and manage VoIP/telephony systems, including configuration and call flow updates
- Monitor infrastructure health, document environments, and resolve escalations in a NOC-style workflow
Required Skills
- 10–15 years
of experience across networking and systems admin/engineering - Strong hands-on experience with
Windows Server, virtualization, and Microsoft 365 - Solid understanding of
networking fundamentals
(L2/L3, VLANs, Wi-Fi, basic firewalling) - Experience managing
backups, storage systems, and environment monitoring tools - Ability to operate independently as the primary onsite engineer
- Experience in
MSP, NOC, or multi-client environments
is highly preferred
