is seeking a Systems Engineer-Endpoint Services are seeking a system engineer to work with a team of developers to implement new capabilities in support of the current classification marking tool and the tool to be used to support M365 web-based applications. This position will be based out of the Columbia, MD Area.
What you will do- Work with a team of developers to implement new capabilities in support of the current classification marking tool and the tool to be used to support M365 web based applications.
- Document the full life cycle design, development and testing of policy-driven software across multiple fabrics.
- Document the tool and inner workings to include creating standard system engineering and test documentation.
- Test new software releases and document results
- Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 12 years.
7+ years of System Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
Experience generating standard system engineering and test documents
Excellent written skills and experience in generating program/process related documents
Strong organizational skills
Analyze system requirements, the concept of operations, and high-level system architecture to develop requirements specifications
Gather, analyze, and capture customer requirements
Triage user issues
Track and respond to user issues/questions
Establish internal schedules and milestones
Report weekly/monthly/quarterly status in a timely manner
Document processes and provide deliverable to the government
Provide meeting minutes
Ability to test new configurations/software releases
Coordinate and identify test users for various scenarios
Track and report testing results
Coordinate software deliveries with external organizations
Ability to document and coordinate communication for critical issues
