Overview

is seeking a Systems Engineer-Endpoint Services are seeking a system engineer to work with a team of developers to implement new capabilities in support of the current classification marking tool and the tool to be used to support M365 web-based applications. This position will be based out of the Columbia, MD Area.

What you will do
  • Work with a team of developers to implement new capabilities in support of the current classification marking tool and the tool to be used to support M365 web based applications. 
  • Document the full life cycle design, development and testing of policy-driven software across multiple fabrics.
  • Document the tool and inner workings to include creating standard system engineering and test documentation.
  • Test new software releases and document results
What you need to have
  • Bachelor's degree in system engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 12 years.
  • 7+ years of System Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.

  • Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly
  • Experience generating standard system engineering and test documents

  • Excellent written skills and experience in generating program/process related documents

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Analyze system requirements, the concept of operations, and high-level system architecture to develop requirements specifications

  • Gather, analyze, and capture customer requirements

  • Triage user issues

  • Track and respond to user issues/questions

  • Establish internal schedules and milestones

  • Report weekly/monthly/quarterly status in a timely manner

  • Document processes and provide deliverable to the government

  • Provide meeting minutes

  • Ability to test new configurations/software releases

  • Coordinate and identify test users for various scenarios

  • Track and report testing results

  • Coordinate software deliveries with external organizations

  • Ability to document and coordinate communication for critical issues
