We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, managing stock rotation, and ensuring that our warehouse management system (WMS) accurately reflects physical stock levels. This position is crucial for optimizing our logistics operations, reducing errors, and improving overall efficiency. You will work closely with warehouse staff, management, and other departments to resolve inventory issues. A strong focus on safety and adherence to all protocols, including the correct use of PPE, is essential. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent problem-solving skills. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between system records and physical inventory.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) to ensure product freshness and minimize obsolescence.
- Ensure accurate receiving and put-away of all incoming goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and report on stock status.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Work with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics and supply chain.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of inventory control principles and logistics best practices.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must comply with all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
