In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of all incoming and outgoing shipments. Your duties will include receiving goods, verifying contents, stocking inventory, preparing outbound orders, and coordinating with logistics partners. A strong focus on safety is essential, and all team members must adhere to company safety policies, utilize proper PPE, and practice safe lifting techniques. This position is critical to our overall logistics operations, requiring attention to detail, organization, and reliability. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting and a solid understanding of shipping and receiving processes. Your contribution to our logistics chain is vital. We are looking for an individual who is a team player, can manage multiple tasks, and works well in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Accept deliveries, inspect goods for damage, and verify against order documents.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory system.
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse logistics.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
- Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with safety best practices in a logistics environment.
