We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk for our facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient receiving of all incoming goods. Your duties will include unloading trucks, verifying shipments against purchase orders, inspecting for damages, and accurately recording inventory received into our system. This position is vital for maintaining the integrity of our inventory and ensuring that our logistics operations start off on the right foot. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong organizational skills, and is committed to upholding safety standards. You will be an integral part of our supply chain process.
Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments from trucks and containers.
- Verify the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and shipping documents.
- Inspect products for any damages or defects and report them immediately.
- Accurately enter received inventory data into the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Stage received goods for put-away by other warehouse personnel.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory control tasks as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams regarding deliveries.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with WMS is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all PPE requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
