Our Las Vegas, Nevada distribution center is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist. This role is essential for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, managing stock levels, and implementing strategies to minimize loss and improve efficiency within our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will play a key part in ensuring that our customers receive the correct products on time, every time. Your efforts will directly impact the smooth operation of our fulfillment processes and overall supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Implement and monitor inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy.
- Manage stock rotation and ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles are followed.
- Track and report on inventory accuracy, shrinkage, and damage.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to resolve inventory issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
- Ensure all movements of goods are properly documented.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Must be able to perform moderate lifting.
- Familiarity with safety procedures in a warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
