Job Description As a Lead Data Engineer, you will set the technical direction for a mission‑critical data function. You will lead a squad of engineers to build scalable data products that empower lending and analytics teams. What you will do
Lead a squad of 4–6 engineers and mentor them to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous growth.
Design and implement robust data pipelines and models using a modern stack including DBT, BigQuery, and Airflow.
Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to translate complex business priorities into reliable, self‑serve data products.
The ideal candidate
Has 7+ years of data or backend engineering experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or decision‑making role.
Is deeply experienced with modern data infrastructure including GCP/AWS, DBT, BigQuery, and Terraform.
Values simplicity and automation while bringing strong software engineering foundations in Python, SQL, and DevOps practices.
