We are hiring an Order Picker for our warehouse in Cincinnati, Ohio. This crucial role involves accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret order pick lists or use RF scanning devices.
- Locate and retrieve specific items from designated warehouse locations.
- Ensure accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory immediately.
- Support the logistics team in meeting order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
