We are hiring an Order Picker for our warehouse in Cincinnati, Ohio. This crucial role involves accurately and efficiently retrieving products from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses good organizational skills, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret order pick lists or use RF scanning devices.
- Locate and retrieve specific items from designated warehouse locations.
- Ensure accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Transport picked items to the packing station.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear all required PPE, such as safety shoes and gloves.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory immediately.
- Support the logistics team in meeting order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
This role is essential to our logistics operations. We emphasize workplace safety and require all employees to follow established protocols, including the proper use of PPE. You will be a key contributor to our logistics efficiency.
