Join our dynamic team as a Distribution Center Associate in Durham, North Carolina! This position is key to our logistics operations, ensuring that our warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming inventory with accuracy.
- Stock merchandise in appropriate locations within the warehouse.
- Pick items for orders according to specifications.
- Pack orders carefully to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for dispatch.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and adheres to all Safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet departmental goals and deadlines.
- Follow all company policies and procedures diligently.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is beneficial but not required.
- Must be able to perform consistent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of logistics principles and inventory management.
- Strong emphasis on Safety and adherence to all protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good observational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear all necessary PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing work demands.
