Now, we’re looking for a passionate and sharp Editorial Assistant / Writer to help us tell those stories. Tasks
As Editorial Assistant / Content Writer, you’ll: Write articles, interviews, and features focused on engineering, aerospace, innovation, and infrastructure Research and fact-check technical subjects with accuracy and clarity Help manage editorial calendars, source stories, and prepare content for publication Assist with newsletter production and social media posts Work closely with the founder and editorial team to refine Lightbulb’s voice and reach Requirements
Must-Have: Excellent written English and strong storytelling ability Proven interest in science, technology, engineering, or innovation journalism Ability to research and translate complex technical topics for a wider audience Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Enthusiasm for building something bold and fresh Nice to Have: Experience writing for a publication, blog, newsletter, or university paper Degree (or working towards one) in Journalism, English, STEM, or related fields Basic knowledge of tools like Notion, Figma, Substack, or WordPress Photography, podcasting, or video editing skills a plus Benefits
