Overview
Sales Development Representative, Enterprise- DACH (f/m/d) at Contentful. This role focuses on working with the DACH (Germany, Switzerland, Austria) customer base and requires fluent German. This is an on-site role with offices in Central London. Contentful is a leading digital experience platform that helps businesses meet the growing demand for engaging, personalized content at scale. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our global Business Development team and pursue a career in sales. Responsibilities
Gain in-depth knowledge of customers, industry, Contentful’s solution offering Effectively manage campaigns and reach out to new prospects Lead generation activities including strategic research on LinkedIn and outbound prospecting Send weekly activity reports to sales leadership Collaborate with assigned Account Executives, handing off qualified prospects Educate AEs on complete qualification meeting details (SLAs) Meet or exceed opportunity and pipeline targets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis Build relationships with decision-makers and key executives across industries What you need to be successful
1-2 years of work experience preferred; SDR/BDR experience is advantageous 1-2 years in a quota carrying/performance oriented role, or 1-2 years experience with outbound customer prospecting Language fluency in English and one additional European language (e.g., German, French, Swedish) Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to understand customer needs and articulate the business opportunity to the AE team Ability to build rapport with prospects, colleagues and other stakeholders Self-starter who takes proactive action to move conversations forward Willingness to travel (up to 10%) Ability to follow set processes and update systems diligently Detail-oriented and data-driven Experience with standard software such as Salesforce Interest in technology and willingness to learn Contentful's solutions Customer-first mindset focused on mutual success What's in it for you
