Key responsibilities
Area Sales Strategy – Create a growth strategy for named accounts, set clear targets for existing account growth and new customer acquisition, and link with channel and marketing teams to deliver customer engagement.
Financial KPIs – Meet or exceed KPIs for orders, sales, margin, new customer acquisition and win rates while managing MDF and expenses.
Customer Relationships – Develop, maintain and nurture key relationships across Distribution, Panel Builders and Contractors, using these to grow the business.
Forecasting – Provide formal quarterly rolling forecasts, monthly forecasts to the business, and semi‑formal updates as required by the Regional Director.
CRM Excellence – Lead CRM usage, document all interactions, manage opportunities, and embed a culture of CRM excellence.
Pipeline Management – Run robust pipeline across the area, maintain short‑, medium‑ and long‑term views, sell “Schneider End to End”, align offer mix, and drive win rates and close times.
Skills and attributes
Sales Management – High‑performing sales experience, both individually and as part of a team.
Strong influence and convincing skills.
Highly organised with strong planning abilities.
Good business sense and awareness of macro market trends.
Education
General Business Degree or equivalent experience.
Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.
