Position Overview The Cloud Infrastructure Architect designs, implements and maintains scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure that supports business operations and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.
Implement security measures, policies and procedures to protect infrastructure and data.
Collaborate with development, operations and other teams to integrate infrastructure within the overall IT strategy.
Stay current on emerging technologies and trends to drive innovation and improvement.
Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, identifying bottlenecks and enhancing efficiency and scalability.
Document architecture, configurations and processes; share knowledge across teams.
Optimize cloud costs while maintaining or improving performance.
Technical Requirements
Extensive experience in IT infrastructure design and implementation.
Cloud‑native architecture expertise (Azure, AWS, GCP); strong proficiency in AWS. Experience in multi‑cloud deployments preferred.
Design and implementation of data‑intensive, high‑performance trading data platforms.
Experience designing scalable, secure Kubernetes‑based infrastructure, including container orchestration and deployment optimization.
Familiarity with financial services data workflows, trading, middle office and back office operations.
Proficiency with GitOps tools and methodologies for infrastructure automation and deployment.
Background in DevSecFinOps, ensuring compliance, security and cost efficiency across the development lifecycle.
Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) and monitoring tools.
Experience in disaster recovery planning and backup system management.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
Preferred certifications (optional): AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional; Terraform Associate or Professional.

Ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical teams.
