Job Summary We are seeking a technically proficient and highly analytical Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the core infrastructure of PrimeTrade AI™, an enterprise commodities trading platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Backend development, combined with expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI integration. This role requires a developer who can bridge the gap between complex data extraction (OCR/Web Scraping) and scalable backend services, working closely with architects and data scientists to deliver a high-performance, automated trading ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Backend Engineering: Design and implement secure, scalable server-side logic and database schemas using Java/Python/C#/.NET Framework, and Oracle/SQL Server.
AI & Automation Integration: Develop and deploy automation workflows using UiPath (RE-Framework) to integrate AI components such as OCR and ICR for automated document processing.
Data Ingestion & Extraction: Build robust data pipelines utilizing Web and Screen Scraping techniques to capture market and transactional data from diverse digital sources.
System Monitoring: Configure and manage Kibana and Elasticsearch dashboards to monitor workflow execution, audit logs, and troubleshoot production errors in real-time.
API & Service Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs and WCF/Web Services to facilitate seamless communication between the frontend trading interface and backend AI models.
Performance Optimization: Conduct regular code reviews and fine-tuning to ensure low-latency performance and high availability for trading-critical operations.
Security & Compliance: Implement role-based access controls and ensure all backend components align with ISO 27001 and UAE PDPL data protection standards.
Technical Documentation: Produce and maintain comprehensive Technical Design Documents (TDD) and Solution Design Documents (SDD) throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience: Minimum 5–7+ years of experience in backend development and process automation.
Core Tech Stack: Expert proficiency in any of Java/Python/C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server database management.
Automation Tools: Advanced knowledge of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Robot; UiPath Advanced Developer Certification is highly desirable.
Web Technologies: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Ajax to support frontend-backend integration.
Data Handling: Mastery of data transformation, regex, and extraction tools (OCR/Full-text scraping).
Professional Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a high-pressure, milestone-driven environment.
Communication: Strong ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
