Role Overview Aspire People, one of the UK’s fastest‑growing education recruitment specialists, is partnering with a secondary high school in Stoke on Trent to find a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher. This role offers an exciting opportunity to teach a wide range of DT disciplines across Key Stage 3 and 4, including Food Technology. The position is initially for one term, with the likelihood of extending until July 2026, providing stability and a longer‑term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Teach a variety of Design and Technology subjects at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Deliver engaging lessons across multiple disciplines including Food Technology, Product Design, and Textiles.
Work collaboratively with the DT department team.
Support students in developing both practical and theoretical skills.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design and Technology or a related subject.
Ability to teach all DT disciplines at KS3 and KS4.
ECTs are welcome to apply – full support for early‑career teachers.
Passion for teaching and commitment to student development.
