Graphic Design Manager London, W1T | Permanent | Full-time | Hybrid working
About this opportunity We're searching for a graphic designer with creative agency or internal design team experience to join our marketing & communications team as graphic design manager. This is an excellent opportunity to your mark on the visual identity, and shape the visual direction of an ambitious global brand.
You’ll work across a range of creative disciplines – including branding, event stand design, marketing campaigns, and digital and print design.
This is a varied role that requires a multi‑disciplined designer with exceptional creative flair, technical skill (and a keen eye for detail!).
As part of our Corporate Marketing and Communications team, you’ll play a crucial role in producing captivating visual content for both internal and external audiences. The work will be diverse and fast‑paced, offering you the chance to contribute at every stage of the creative process from initial concept and briefing through to final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the evolution of the company’s visual identity and brand guidelines, providing creative input to strengthen design direction and brand impact.
Design marketing brochures (print and digitally), thought leadership, market reports, and corporate documents for both print and digital distribution.
Support the production of event and exhibition display materials, including guest invitations, stand designs, and associated promotional collateral.
Develop internal communications materials such as posters, e‑newsletters, presentations, and video content.
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain brand consistency and convey messaging effectively.
Uphold accessibility standards for all designed content.
Assist in organising and managing the company’s online image library, ensuring it remains updated, categorised, and easily accessible to relevant teams.
Maintain design documentation, workflows, and standard operating procedures to streamline processes and ensure efficient project execution.
Engage with internal stakeholders to understand design briefs, clarify requirements, and present design concepts, ensuring alignment with expectations.
Conduct thorough quality checks on final deliverables, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines before distribution or publication.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high‑quality standards.
Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices, applying newfound knowledge to enhance design quality and innovation.

Experience
5+ years of professional graphic design experience, either in a creative agency or client‑side/in‑house design team.
Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across brand identity, digital campaigns, and print materials.
Experience in managing timelines, priorities, and expectations across various stakeholder groups.
A track record of providing excellent customer service to multiple stakeholder groups, addressing concerns, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the design process.
Experience in documenting requirements, feedback, and decisions made during the design process.
Demonstrated experience in adapting to changing stakeholder needs or feedback during different stages of a project. Being flexible enough to incorporate suggestions while maintaining the overall design integrity and objectives.
Strong awareness of trends, styles, and the history of graphic design.
Creative proficiency in typography, layout, imagery, and illustration to produce compelling visuals.
Strong problem‑solving skills – able to design with the target audience in mind.
Excellent project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Confident in collaborating with senior colleagues and clients.
A creative and strategic thinker.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to meet multiple, challenging deadlines without compromising quality or accuracy.
Understanding of accessibility standards for both online and offline content.
Proactive, enthusiastic, and self‑motivated.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
