We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your primary duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, investigating stock variances, and ensuring that inventory records are up-to-date in our Warehouse Management System (WMS). You will also be involved in receiving and put-away processes, verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, and identifying damaged or defective goods. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail are essential for success in this position. We expect candidates to adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and inventory management. This role demands a commitment to accuracy and efficiency within the fast-paced logistics environment. You will collaborate with various departments, including shipping, receiving, and operations, to resolve inventory issues and improve overall warehouse performance. Training will be provided on our specific WMS and inventory control methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating potential inventory risks. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and profitability of our operations. Compliance with PPE requirements is mandatory at all times. Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS.
- Process incoming shipments and ensure accurate put-away.
- Identify and report damaged or defective inventory.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and wear required PPE .
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management.
- Assist with training new team members on inventory procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area.
