We are hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for our facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. This crucial role involves managing the inbound and outbound flow of goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all logistical processes. You will be responsible for receiving shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, stocking items, and preparing outgoing shipments. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with physical tasks, including Lifting, and proficient in using warehouse equipment. We maintain a rigorous safety program, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against documentation.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Accurately document and enter received items into the inventory system.
- Stage and store received materials in designated locations.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct items and quantities.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile stock.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment, including proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Knowledge of logistics and inventory management principles.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations and PPE requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
