Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, verifying order accuracy, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining organized shipping records. You will be expected to handle packages of varying sizes and weights, with potential requirements for significant Lifting . Understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory management principles is a plus. This role is integral to our Logistics operations, ensuring that our products reach their destinations on time and in excellent condition. A commitment to workplace Safety and efficient work practices is required.
Responsibilities:
- Generate shipping labels and packing slips accurately.
- Verify that all outgoing shipments match customer orders and internal documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for pick-ups and deliveries.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners regarding shipment status.
- Operate shipping equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, safely.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
- Assist with inventory counts and warehouse organization as needed.
- Ensure all packages are properly secured and labeled for transit.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any shipping discrepancies or delays.
