The position requires physical stamina, including regular Lifting of products and materials. Upholding strict safety standards and consistently wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are non-negotiable. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory efficiently.
- Process orders accurately by picking, packing, and staging items for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring the safe transit of goods.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, according to safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate inventory data through system updates and physical checks.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety rules and regulations.
- Utilize and maintain all required PPE throughout the shift.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, such as cycle counting.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle substantial Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and basic inventory control principles.
- Excellent focus on detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Capability to perform well in a fast-paced, physically demanding role.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and correct PPE usage.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Must be dependable and punctual.
