We are seeking a proactive and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our bustling logistics hub in Dallas, Texas. This role is essential for managing the daily flow of materials, ensuring efficient operations, and supporting the warehouse team. You will be instrumental in scheduling, tracking shipments, and maintaining clear communication between departments. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management.
- Schedule inbound and outbound shipments and liaise with carriers.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and movements.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment.
- Implement and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all staff.
- Assist in developing and optimizing warehouse workflows and procedures.
- Support the warehouse team with various operational tasks.
- Perform tasks that involve moderate Lifting and physical activity.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient logistics operation.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in warehouse coordination or a similar logistics support role. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus. Knowledge of Safety procedures and best practices in a warehouse setting. Ability to handle tasks requiring moderate Lifting. Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. A proactive approach to problem-solving is highly valued.
