In this specialized role, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational readiness of our warehouse equipment and supporting the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance on warehouse machinery, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, assisting with equipment repairs, and ensuring all equipment meets Safety standards. A keen understanding of mechanical systems, a proactive approach to maintenance, and a strong commitment to Safety are essential. This position requires the ability to perform moderate physical tasks, including Lifting. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on warehouse machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and identify mechanical or electrical issues with equipment.
- Assist in performing minor repairs and adjustments to ensure optimal functionality.
- Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with Safety regulations.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed for maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all company policies, including proper use of PPE and Safety protocols.
- Support the logistics team by ensuring equipment availability and reliability.
- Keep the maintenance area organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with routine maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of workplace Safety standards and practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with logistics operations is a plus.
