We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks essential to the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your duties will include receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, stocking inventory accurately, fulfilling orders by picking and packing items, and preparing goods for shipment. You will also be involved in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, and performing regular inventory counts. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing logistics company and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times, including safety shoes and vests. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of objects up to 50 pounds. Teamwork and effective communication are crucial for success in this position. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory.
- Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to specifications.
- Prepare shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring significant Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions.
