We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our dynamic logistics team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all outbound shipments are accurately processed, documented, and prepared for timely delivery. You will be responsible for verifying order details, preparing shipping labels, packaging items securely, and coordinating with carriers. A solid understanding of shipping procedures and warehouse operations is essential. We are committed to providing a safe working environment, and all employees are required to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Verify shipment contents against order details.
- Generate and apply shipping labels and documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communicate effectively with shipping carriers and internal departments.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or a warehouse environment preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and logistics processes.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate to heavy Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
