*COAST TIRE *is seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for vehicles and a strong commitment to providing high-quality service. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues.
* Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, and other essential systems.
* Replace worn or damaged parts using hand tools and power tools.
* Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
* Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair options.
* Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques.
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
*Qualifications*
* High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an automotive technology program is preferred.
* Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair techniques.
* Ability to use diagnostic equipment effectively.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
* Valid driver's license
* Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
