Job Summary:
Our Colorado Springs, Colorado facility is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is essential for optimizing warehouse efficiency and ensuring product availability. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory management, from receiving and put-away to cycle counting and discrepancy resolution. Your expertise will help minimize stockouts, reduce waste, and improve overall supply chain performance. A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach are paramount to success in this position within our fast-paced logistics environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate inventory data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Analyze inventory levels and recommend adjustments to optimize stock.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory.
  • Monitor and manage the receiving and put-away processes.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
  • Assist in training new team members on inventory procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles and logistics.
  • Ability to perform accurate counts and meticulous record-keeping.
  • Experience with forklifts and other material handling equipment is a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and using PPE.
  • Willingness to perform lifting duties up to 40 lbs.
