Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Safely load and unload materials from trucks and storage locations.
- Perform pre-operation checks on the reach truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning items and updating system information.
- Organize and arrange products within racking systems.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, such as picking or packing.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to management.
- Meet operational efficiency targets while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification or license for operating a reach truck.
- Proven experience as a Reach Truck Operator in a warehouse environment.
- Proficiency in operating material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial judgment.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Experience with inventory management systems is a plus.
