Join our San Jose, California team as a Shipping & Receiving Associate! This role is pivotal in managing the flow of goods into and out of our facility. You will be responsible for accurately documenting, organizing, and preparing shipments, as well as receiving and verifying incoming materials. Your efficiency and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring timely deliveries. This position is a key component of our logistics operations, requiring strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify accuracy of received goods against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Prepare, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to specifications.
- Arrange for pickup and delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Keep the shipping and receiving areas clean and organized.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Familiarity with logistics and shipping procedures.
- Ability to perform lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
