Your responsibilities will include preparing shipping documents, verifying package contents against orders, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining organized shipping records. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, so the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively is essential. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse work, with a solid grasp of inventory management principles. We are committed to a safe working environment and expect all team members to adhere to strict safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Prepare and process all shipping documentation, including bills of lading and manifests.
- Verify that all outgoing shipments are accurate and match order details.
- Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date shipping records.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding shipping status.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
- Operate necessary equipment for moving and preparing shipments.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse environment preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and logistics processes.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
