Join our expanding logistics team in Orlando, Florida, as a skilled Reach Truck Operator. In this vital role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout our distribution center. Your duties will include safely navigating the warehouse, picking and transporting materials to and from designated areas, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position demands precision, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and an unwavering commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of safe and efficient reach truck operation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to perform daily pre-operation checks on the reach truck and report any malfunctions immediately. Adherence to all company policies, including the strict use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is paramount. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a reach truck to move and stack inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and racking systems.
- Accurately pick and transport items to designated areas.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
- Contribute to a productive and safe work environment.
- Optimize storage space and ensure efficient warehouse flow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating a reach truck.
- Valid forklift or reach truck certification preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Excellent spatial awareness and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
