A local food manufacturer is currently hiring an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to support their growing operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for detail and a passion for food safety and quality assurance. Quality Assurance Technician Details: Temp-to-Hire position $ 18.50 / hour Full Time work available Third Shift (Monday through Friday from 10:00pm to 06:30am) Responsible for ensuring food safety & quality Perform changeover inspections, pre-operational inspections & auditing in process QC Checks Train shift personnel on food quality & safety practices Investigate product holds & customer complaints Conducting facility inspections & auditing production and sanitation processes Quality Assurance Technician Qualifications: High School Diploma; college training in math or science preferred 1+ years in a laboratory or related inspection work Experience in a production or manufacturing environment Audit production QC inspections & data Perform raw material and packaging receiving verifications Prepare customer samples and swab samples for shipment Conduct pre-operational inspections prior to weekly start-up Identify, tag and segregate nonconforming Items Perform scheduled GMP Inspections and Glass & Brittle Plastic Inspections Audit production and sanitation procedures for compliance with documented procedures Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment *A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
