We are hiring a skilled Forklift Operator for our facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to handle and move materials throughout the warehouse. Your expertise will be critical to our Logistics operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods from receiving to shipping. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials.
- Transport goods to and from various warehouse locations, including receiving, storage, and shipping areas.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on forklift equipment to ensure optimal performance and Safety.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions.
- Support the overall efficiency of the Logistics department.
- Report any Safety hazards or equipment issues promptly.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with a valid certification.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and physical stamina, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
- Team player with good communication skills.
