Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic logistics team in Los Angeles, California. This critical role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory records, ensuring that our warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will be instrumental in minimizing discrepancies, optimizing stock levels, and contributing to the overall success of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Monitor stock levels and report on low stock or overstock situations.
  • Assist with receiving and put-away processes, ensuring items are correctly logged.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Prepare inventory reports and analyses for management review.
  • Understand and support the company's logistics operations.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent standing, walking, and moderate lifting (up to 50 lbs).
  • Commitment to workplace safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
