Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Move, sort, and stage materials within the warehouse.
- Verify incoming materials against documentation.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Implement proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
