You will be responsible for handling a variety of materials, using equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts, and ensuring accurate inventory placement. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, efficiency, and attention to detail. We provide thorough training on safe operating procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required PPE. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and have the physical capability to perform demanding tasks. Responsibilities:
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Move, sort, and stage materials within the warehouse.
- Verify incoming materials against documentation.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Implement proper lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
