Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working with systems? We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This vital role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize shrinkage and improve inventory accuracy. This position is key to our Logistics success, ensuring that we have the right products in the right place at the right time. A strong understanding of inventory management principles and a commitment to Safety are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and identify items for replenishment or overstock.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of all inventory items.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety regulations, including the correct use of PPE.
- Work closely with Logistics and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Assist with the organization of inventory storage areas, including some Lifting as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 25 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
