As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and move them to and from storage or production areas. You must possess a valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation. Your responsibilities will include inspecting equipment before use, performing routine maintenance checks, and adhering strictly to all safety regulations and procedures. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, and possesses strong spatial awareness. Experience with various types of forklifts, such as sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, is highly desirable. We emphasize a culture of safety, and all team members are required to wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and vests. This position involves operating machinery in a fast-paced environment, requiring constant vigilance and adherence to safety guidelines. You will be involved in receiving, put-away, picking, and shipping processes, all of which depend on efficient forklift operation. Understanding warehouse layouts and inventory management principles is beneficial.
