As a Software Engineer at MFC, you will join one of the largest networks of software professionals, implementing cutting edge technologies on both existing and new development platforms. As a Staff Embedded Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Develop Embedded Software Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities Design, develop, document, test, and debug software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Correct program errors, prepares operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Basic Qualifications: BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering or related field Active Secret clearance with investigation in last 5 years Embedded software development experience Experience working with HW/SW and testing in HWIL Linux/Xilinx tool suite C++ and/or C computer language Desired Skills: SW Design/architecture experience Knowledge of Cameo, software design, and architecture Full software development life-cycle experience Agile development methodology (Atlassian Tool Suite) Experience working in early technology/demonstration type contract Experience with DevSecOps, Gitlab CI/CD tools is desired Technical document development Technical review presentation development and delivery This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years.
