Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility is seeking a highly organized and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics team. This critical role ensures the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory, directly impacting operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, reconciling inventory records, and implementing procedures to minimize stock loss. A meticulous approach and strong analytical skills are essential. This position requires a deep understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control best practices. You will play a key role in optimizing stock levels, identifying slow-moving items, and contributing to overall supply chain efficiency. Safety is paramount, and you will ensure that all inventory-related activities comply with safety regulations and that appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is utilized. While this role is primarily analytical, some physical activity may be involved, including occasional lifting of items up to 30 lbs. Experience with data analysis and reporting is highly desirable.
