Senior Product Manager (Technical SaaS) London / Hybrid Working – £80,000–£110,000 + Comprehensive Benefits About the Role Mploy Group is supporting a fast-growing technology organisation that is building sophisticated SaaS platforms for complex, data-led engineering and industrial environments. With backing from prominent investors and a reputation for forward-thinking innovation, the business is now entering a major scale-up period and strengthening its Product organisation. This position is a great fit for an experienced Senior Product Manager who enjoys navigating detailed B2B SaaS ecosystems, collaborates closely with customers, and wants to influence and refine the overall product direction. Overview As a Senior Product Manager, you will take a key role in shaping product vision, enabling customer-driven development, and guiding the long-term evolution of a highly technical software platform. You’ll work alongside engineering, commercial teams, operations, and senior leaders to understand user requirements, assess new opportunities, adjust priorities, and steer impactful features from early discovery all the way through to release. To succeed, you’ll bring strong product judgement, clear communication skills, and the ability to turn genuine customer insight into practical, strategic decisions. Core Responsibilities Customer & Market Insight * Build meaningful relationships with users, clients, and potential customers. * Lead discovery activities, collect feedback, and test assumptions about product direction. * Develop a solid understanding of market behaviour, competing solutions, and new trends. * Champion the customer's perspective across the wider business. Product Strategy & Roadmapping * Take ownership of the roadmap within your area and sequence priorities based on value and impact. * Produce business cases for new concepts, features, and growth ideas. * Align closely with engineering, design, sales, and leadership teams. * Produce detailed, well-explained requirements for developers and stakeholders. SaaS Delivery & Execution * Oversee features from initial exploration through to deployment and customer adoption. * Work with engineering to verify feasibility, clarify expectations, and support smooth delivery. * Conduct user tests, run beta programmes, and analyse structured feedback. * Support the development of launch plans and go-to-market activity. Commercial & Product Outcomes * Review product performance metrics, behavioural data, and customer insight. * Convert findings into improvement plans that boost adoption, retention, and commercial success. * Partner with Sales and Customer Success to enhance user onboarding and product engagement. * Contribute to shaping product-market fit and long-term business results. Leadership & Influence * Develop expertise in your product domain and become a trusted internal advisor. * Represent the product both inside the organisation and when speaking externally. Skills & Experience Essential * Strong, hands-on Product Management background within B2B SaaS environments. * Comfortable operating in technically challenging or multi-layered product spaces. * Experienced in discovery practices, customer insight gathering, and problem analysis. * Demonstrated ability to own, shape, and deliver meaningful product features. * Commercial awareness with experience monitoring KPIs and success metrics. * Confident in agile, cross-functional collaboration. Desirable * Background in high-growth or scale-up technology companies. * CAM knowledge * Enthusiasm for innovation and developing top-tier digital experiences. * Able to explain complex technical ideas with clarity and simplicity.
