Fox Subacute at South Philadelphia is seeking highly competent and motivated Respiratory Therapists to join our interdisciplinary clinical team. As the only ventilator program in the region with a _*CMS 5 - Star Quality Rating*_, Fox Subacute is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered respiratory care to a medically complex population.
We offer flexible scheduling, including the ability to work two weekend shifts plus one weekday shift as full time, with additional pay incentives for weekend shifts.
Night shift has a $2 differential!
Electronic scheduling is available and Same Day Pay will be implemented soon.
_*Clinical Responsibilities*_
\*\* Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and ongoing evaluations for ventilator dependent residents.
\*\* Initiate and monitor ventilator modalities and adjust settings based on clinical indicators, patient response and provider orders.
\*\* Manage tracheotomy care, airway clearance strategies, bronchial hygiene therapies and oxygen delivery systems.
\*\* Identify and intervene early in respiratory distress through vigilant monitoring and clinical judgement.
\*\*Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses and interdisciplinary team members to optimize respiratory outcomes.
\*\* Maintain accurate, timely and compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
\*\* Provide patient and family education to support understanding of respiratory treatment plans.
*Professional Qualifications*
\*\*Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT)
\*\* Proficiency in ventilator management and tracheostomy care (preferred)
\*\*Ability to function efficiently in a high acuity, fast paced long term acute care environment.
\*\* Demonstrated clinical competency, strong critical thinking ability and sound clinical decision-making skills.
\*\* Excellent communication, interdisciplinary collaboration and organizational skills.
\*\* Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care for medically complex adults.
