They are currently experiencing growth and strategic expansion, prompting the need for a senior expert to oversee their market analytics functions. This role is crucial for enhancing their forecasting capabilities and supporting their trading operations with accurate, high‑quality insights. Role Summary
Role:
Head of Gas LNG & European Gas Analytics Experience Required:
Extensive background in market analysis, trading analytics, or commodity research, with significant experience in LNG and European gas markets; proven leadership skills in managing analytical teams. Details of the Role:
Develop and oversee international supply/demand models for LNG and European gas hubs. Lead analytics on market signals, price opportunities, and infrastructure constraints. Collaborate closely with trading teams to translate market trends into actionable strategies. Build predictive models using tools like Python, SQL, and R, and develop visualisation solutions. Analyse European storage and inter‑basin arbitrage opportunities.
Qualifications / Education Needed:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or related disciplines. Salary:
£150‑200,000 fixed + bonus Location:
London‑based. Start Date:
As soon as possible, subject to agreement.
