We are seeking a skilled and certified Reach Truck Operator to join our Los Angeles, California warehouse team. This role is essential for the efficient movement and storage of goods within our facility. You will operate a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This position requires precision, **safety** consciousness, and a commitment to maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. As a key member of our **logistics** operation, you will ensure that materials are handled properly and stored correctly. Compliance with all **safety** regulations and the proper use of **PPE** is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.
- Ensure accurate placement of inventory within racking systems.
- Perform pre-operational checks on the reach truck and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, free from hazards.
- Follow all **safety** procedures and guidelines for equipment operation.
- Adhere to strict **PPE** requirements at all times.
- Assist with **lifting** and moving of materials as needed.
- Support overall **logistics** and warehouse operations through efficient material handling.
- Participate in inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification to operate a reach truck.
- Proven experience operating reach trucks in a warehouse environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to **lift** up to 50 pounds.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse **safety** protocols and **PPE**.
- Understanding of **logistics** principles and inventory management.
- Good manual dexterity and coordination.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
