Our Colorado Springs, Colorado facility is looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to manage incoming shipments and ensure accurate inventory recording. The Receiving Clerk plays a vital part in the initial stages of our Logistics process, ensuring that all goods are accounted for, inspected, and stored correctly. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our warehouse operations and supporting downstream processes like order fulfillment and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and shipping manifests.
- Inspect goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report any issues.
- Accurately record received items into the inventory management system.
- Stage received goods for put-away or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on Safety protocols and the mandatory use of appropriate PPE .
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Collaborate with other warehouse departments to ensure seamless workflow.
- Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, if certified.
- This position may require moderate Lifting of goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse receiving role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
