A position has become available for a seasoned professional to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. As a Senior Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences and leading a team of staff members.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and direct staff activities to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Assist guests with inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
- Support front-of-house staff during service hours.
- Process transactions on our Point of Sale system as required.
- Assist in supervising front-of-house staff during service hours.
- Help plan promotions for the restaurant.
- Assist with creating weekly work schedules for front-of-house staff.
- Process and review server and/or bar cash out paperwork at the end of each shift.
- Assist in maintaining positive employee relations and safety standards.
- Assist with catering events as needed.
- Procure supplies as necessary.
- Assist in inventory preparation as needed.
- Investigate food quality and service complaints.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, portion control, and sanitation regulations.
- Document guest needs and communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Foster positive dialogue with guests to encourage return business.
- Evaluate staff compliance with safe food and alcohol handling procedures.
- Document HR-related incidents involving front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Maintain restaurant cleanliness, lighting, music, and aesthetics throughout each shift.
- Perform opening and closing duties for the restaurant.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.
- Collaborate with head chefs and the general manager to plan menus, considering trends and competition.
- Participate in marketing activities and promotional events.
- Restock inventory as required.
- Process guest refunds and print itemized receipts as requested.
- Check email daily, respond to guest inquiries, and forward event and large party requests.
- Support the GM in updating our Aloha system. Requirements:
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and pre-scheduled events.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Previous experience as a Floor Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
