Job Title: Senior Service Manager

A position has become available for a seasoned professional to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. As a Senior Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer experiences and leading a team of staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct staff activities to guarantee guest satisfaction.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely manner.
  • Support front-of-house staff during service hours.
  • Process transactions on our Point of Sale system as required.
  • Assist in supervising front-of-house staff during service hours.
  • Help plan promotions for the restaurant.
  • Assist with creating weekly work schedules for front-of-house staff.
  • Process and review server and/or bar cash out paperwork at the end of each shift.
  • Assist in maintaining positive employee relations and safety standards.
  • Assist with catering events as needed.
  • Procure supplies as necessary.
  • Assist in inventory preparation as needed.
  • Investigate food quality and service complaints.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, portion control, and sanitation regulations.
  • Document guest needs and communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Foster positive dialogue with guests to encourage return business.
  • Evaluate staff compliance with safe food and alcohol handling procedures.
  • Document HR-related incidents involving front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness, lighting, music, and aesthetics throughout each shift.
  • Perform opening and closing duties for the restaurant.
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, and training new employees.
  • Collaborate with head chefs and the general manager to plan menus, considering trends and competition.
  • Participate in marketing activities and promotional events.
  • Restock inventory as required.
  • Process guest refunds and print itemized receipts as requested.
  • Check email daily, respond to guest inquiries, and forward event and large party requests.
  • Support the GM in updating our Aloha system.
  • Requirements:
    • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and pre-scheduled events.
    • Exceptional customer service skills.
    • Previous experience as a Floor Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
